Americold celebrates new facility

The 13-story refrigerated storage building will serve as the flagship for the company. It will highlight state-of-the-art technology for the most innovative way to get food from farms to the grocery store.

Nearly 80 percent of the frozen food sold at stores comes through an Americold building.

The new facility is located at 1010 Americold Drive. Americold can now employ more than 100 associates in full-time and part-time positions in Rochelle.
