Environ Energy has partnered with UT Dallas to host a GRI Sustainability Professional Certification Course this summer, offered virtually. Participants can expect to walk away with the following skills and knowledge areas, grounded in the GRI Standards (the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework):
- Executive oversight of GRI reporting principles and disclosure quality (accuracy, balance, comparability, reliability, timeliness and clarity)
- Materiality and stakeholder impact assessment: identifying, prioritizing and governing what matters most
- GRI reporting on human rights: governance, due diligence, executive accountability and reputational risk management
- Applying the GRI Universal and Topic Standards to structure consistent, decision-useful sustainability disclosures
- Navigating the GRI Sector Standards to strengthen sector relevance, comparability and strategic risk oversight
The fully online course will be taught by GRI Certified trainers Nancy Mancilla, Environ’s Sustainability Principal, and Lara Robinson, Senior Sustainability Consultant.
