Brakebush Brothers agrees to acquire Lake Foods

Brakebush Brothers, a chicken processor that serves the foodservice industry, is acquiring Lake Foods of Hartwell, Georgia.
The two parties finalized an agreement for the transaction on December 31, 2023, although the terms of that agreement has not been made public.
With the acquisition, Brakebush Brothers will gain a portioning facility for raw, sized, marinated and ready-to-cook chicken products.
