FLOCK and Camp Corral Unite to Bring Healing and Hope to Military Children

ROSE HILL, NC – June 12, 2026.  Camp Corral’s supporters have once again stepped up for the children of our military heroes. Thanks to their generosity—and a $15,000 matching gift from House of Raeford Farms FLOCK—the Spring 2026 fundraising campaign wrapped up with an outstanding $40,000 raised.

Celebrating their 15th anniversary of service to the military community and as the summer camp season opens, Camp Corral is welcoming kids of our nation’s wounded, ill, and fallen veteran servicemembers into a program designed specifically for their unique needs. Campers spend the week testing their limits, overcoming fears, building confidence, and celebrating accomplishments—experiences that create lasting healing and hope.

“FLOCK has supported Camp Corral’s donor campaign since 2022, contributing a total of $106,523 over the five years,” said Dave Witter, a member of FLOCK’s board of directors. “This year, FLOCK also contributed $15,000 to Camp Corral’s SALUTE Leadership Program, which provides service and leadership opportunities for military teens preparing for college, military service, or their first career.”

Military parents consistently share how meaningful Camp Corral is for their children:

“Camp Corral provided the rest they needed from veteran family struggles and reignited their inner kid to be goofy and have fun!”

“Both of my kids came home with tons of new knowledge, skills, and confidence… They begged me to let them return next year.”

“Camp Corral was the best thing that happened to our family all year… My husband and I had six days together to reconnect—something that rarely happens.”

“With Summer Camp 2026 just beginning, Camp Corral wants to thank our friends at House of Raeford Farms FLOCK for matching the generous donations of our benefactors  and ensuring military-connected children across the nation will have A Camp to Call Their Own this summer and in the years to come,” said Sheri Oberhelman, Vice President of Development & Outreach for Camp Corral. “Because of these contributions, thousands of military children are experiencing proof that every heartfelt gift truly changes lives.”

What better way to say “thank you for your service” than by supporting the children they love. This partnership continues to advance FLOCK’s mission of helping those who are called to do good, do more.
