Animal Ag Alliance participating in Giving Tuesday
The Animal Agriculture Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to safeguard the future of animal agriculture, is participating in Giving Tuesday on December 2. From now through Giving Tuesday, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, allowing supporters to double their impact in protecting the availability of meat, dairy, poultry, eggs and seafood. Donate today to make your gift go twice as far.
There is only one way to secure the future of animal agriculture: together. Giving Tuesday—a global day of generosity—brings people around the world together to support causes they believe in. As a nonprofit, the Alliance relies on donors’ support to advance its mission. A tax-deductible contribution made now or on Giving Tuesday will directly strengthen the Alliance’s work to advocate for and advance animal agriculture.
“The stakes are high for animal agriculture as we navigate pressures on animal protein from various sources – but there’s strength in numbers,” said Hannah Thompson-Weeman, president and CEO of the Animal Agriculture Alliance. “With your support, we can bolster our work to safeguard the future of animal agriculture and bridge the gap between farm and fork.”
Founded in 1987, the Alliance unites farmers, ranchers, veterinarians, animal feed and health companies, processors, allied associations, and others across the food chain. The organization works to safeguard animal agriculture and its value to society by strengthening communication between farm and food communities. Its efforts include connecting key stakeholders with insights on emerging issues, engaging food chain influencers to promote informed consumer choice, and protecting farmers’ livelihoods by exposing groups that threaten food security through misinformation.
